SEXUAL ORIENTATION QUESTIONS: As demonstrated in the surveys described
on this website, there are many different options for the wording
of sexual orientation questions. Questions generally assess either:
1) sexual orientation identity, 2) sexual behavior, or 3) sexual
attraction.
Here we provide both a history of measuring sexual orientations
and a set of measures that have been utilized to assess sexual orientation.
Many of the measures are included here only for their historical
importance and are described in more detail in the history section.
